My story

My name is Iris Springvloet-Heijnsdijk, and I am a humanistic spiritual counselor. My life and work revolve around connection: to yourself, to others, and to the world. This connection is not an abstract concept to me, but something you feel, experience, and that gives direction to your life. From my own experiences, I know how essential it is to be seen and heard, to have space for your story, even when words are missing.

In my work as a spiritual counselor, I offer that space: I listen attentively, without judgment, and am present for everything that shows itself. Both in the light and in the dark. I work holistically and person-centered: seeing you in relation to your mind, heart, and body, as well as your history, your relationships, and the world around you. Together, we reflect on what matters to you, what you long for, and what you need to move forward.

I find energy in walking, nature, reading, music and art, sports, meditation, meaningful conversations, living with the seasons, and seeking balance. As a humanistic counselor, I draw inspiration from many sources: from art to nature, from connection with myself to connection with others, from psychology to philosophy - and sometimes even from mathematics.

I have been working as a spiritual counselor since 2018. I was appointed as a humanistic spiritual counselor by the Humanistic Alliance, and I am also a member of the professional association of chaplains, adhering to professional standards and continuing education requirements.

My mission

My mission is to make spiritual care accessible to everyone who needs it. Through individual sessions, coaching, workshops, and retreats, I create space for what truly matters.
